Kapton® tapes (or Polyimide tapes) are transparent/amber coloured and durable materials that offer excellent physical, chemical, and electrical properties across an extremely wide temperature range (up to +400°C). These tapes are non-flammable and do not melt, having a UL-94 flammability rating of V-O.
The outstanding properties of these products allow their use in both high and low-temperature applications where other organic polymer materials would not function effectively.
